Other Goals - Develop bilingual graduates. - Fair access to english schools. - A genuine commitment to educate. - Effective cooperation with the Quebec Ministry of Education. - Attract and retain Canada's Best Teachers & Principals to our community. - Working with individualschools by listening to parents, principals, and governing boards before taking action. - Continued focus on class size and an optimal student/teacher ratio. - Continue "Energy Saving Program" on critical remaining schools. - Enlist volunteers who feel connected to kids. - Expanded role for commissioners. - Pay attention to parents’ input as they are looking for better things. They want their kids to get ahead. As your parent elected commissioner, I hear first hand on all matters from parents concerning building repairs, education reforms, budgets, report cards, and teaching methods. I am faithful in reporting council's decisions with parent groups (home & school, PPOs and Governing Boards. As your elected representative, I will continue to improve the educational experience of all children.
